Controversy queen Kangana Ranaut has done the biggest controversy of her life by defaming Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. Though the actress has been a great supporter of Modi but what she tweeted on Bengal riot has become a hurdle to her now.
Kangana was responding to a tweet by journalist-politician Swapan Dasgupta on the violence in Bengal where she urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ‘tame’ Mamata Banerjee using his ‘virat roop’ from early 2000s. In this way she opened the debate of involvement of Modi in the then violence of Gujarat.
In another tweet the actress quoted , “BJP won Assam and Puducherry. No violence reported. TMC won West Bengal. Hundreds of murders and #Bengalisburning but Modi is fascist and Mamata is a secular leader. Enough is enough #PresidentruleinBengal,”
Though tweeter has suspended Lantana’s tweeter handle permanently for sharing hate speech. But what she had tweeted had raised the years back issue where even court had given clean chit to Narendra Modi. It is still uncertain that Kangana has defamed Prime minister of India mistakenly or willingly to gain public attention. She has been a supporter of PM Modi but the tweet she did is mere a defame in disguise of support. She is the first celebrity of India whose twitter account is suspended permanently.
