Gwalior: A mini Marathon was held at MORAR containment Gwalior. The occasion was golden victory year of 1971 Indo-Pak war. The marathon was held on Thursday 31st December. It was a run of 10 kilometre.
The run was began at 7:00am and took two hours to get over. Citizens and NCC cadets took part in the run. More then 300 runner took part in the run with great enthusiasm. Citizens honoured the martyrs of 1971 Indo Pak war by showing their gratitude.
Dr. Rajendra singh of SOS jiwaji university was the oldest participant of the run. In men category, Ravi Dhama got first position by completing the run in just 34 minutes. In women category, Sonam Parmar completed the run in 43 minutes and got first position.
