Indian Institute of Technology, IIM Indore is conducting Common Admission Test, CAT 2020 today across 159 cities. As many as 2.27 lakh candidates have registered this year for the CAT 2020 examination.
Many CAT trainers and experts wrote CAT and have shared their views on the level of pattern and questions this year. As per the maximum experts, in slot 1 DILR section was difficult and moderate to difficult in Slot 2, QA was easy in Slot 1 and moderate in slot 2 and verbal section was moderate in Slot 1 and easy in Slot 2. The difficulty level in both the slots were moderate. Students who have appeared for the Slot 2 exam have also said that this exam was also moderate in terms of difficulty level. Experts have also said that the afternoon examination was moderate to difficult. As per experts, the overall difficulty level of Slot 3 was moderate like Slot 1 and Slot 2. Section-wise DILR was difficult, Quant was easy but tricky and Verbal was moderate to difficult. Quant had some questions from geometry and arithmetic topics.
So as it happens every year, DILR section is the toughest in all three slot.s. VARC is the easiest, while quant is moderate except few questions of geometry.
IIM, Indore will release CAT 2020 Answer Key on first or second week of December 2020, as per the official notice. The result of CAT would be announced in second week of January 2021. Soon after the results are declared, the admission process for IIMs would begin. The admission process may vary in each IIM.
